What we build
clickspersecond.io is a free suite of browser-based testing tools built for gamers, typists, and the curious. Every tool runs instantly in your browser — click-speed and CPS tests, spacebar and key-tapping counters, a typing test, a reaction-time trainer, an aim trainer, and a handful of utilities like a CPS-to-APM calculator. Nothing to install, nothing to sign up for.
Why we made it
Most of these tools started as simple curiosity checks — how fast can a person actually click, tap, or type — and grew into a full arena as we kept adding the variants players and typists actually asked for: Kohi and jitter click tests for Minecraft PvP, duration-specific spacebar and typing tests, and a live global leaderboard so a result means something beyond your own screen.
How the tools work
Every timer runs client-side using your browser's own high-resolution clock, so results reflect your actual input rather than any lag from a server round-trip. Where a leaderboard is shown, scores are stored with Firebase and ranked per test duration, so a 10-second run is only ever compared against other 10-second runs.
Accuracy and fairness
We don't claim these numbers are laboratory-grade — browser timing has natural variance, and input hardware differs from person to person. What we do aim for is consistency: the same test, measured the same way, every time, so your own trend over repeated attempts is meaningful even if the absolute number varies slightly from setup to setup.
